Logging
A case, start to save.
A closed, simple shaft fracture of the ring-finger metacarpal, fixed with a plate, logged in the app as shipped. Recorded on an iPhone at reading pace: about 98 seconds, never sped up, with the Review screen held at each scroll.

What just happened
- Nobody typed a diagnosis. The injury was described (side, mechanism, finger, bone, shaft, simple) and the diagnosis arrived as a coded entry with its AO code, and with the operations usually recorded for it as chips. Choosing one is one tap.
- SNOMED CT on both sides. 509 structured diagnoses and 865 procedures across 11 plastic-surgery subspecialties, every one carrying a concept from the SNOMED CT International Edition and checked against the published release.
- Detail where it is cheap to capture and expensive to reconstruct. Fixation hardware, flap ischaemia times and anastomoses, per-ray Dupuytren measurements with the Tubiana stage worked out, tenolysis zones, a four-layer hand infection assessment. Structured fields, not a notes box.
- Saved encrypted, on the phone. The case never left the device. Where it goes from here is up to the surgeon: where your data lives.
- Already laid out for the logbook. The same record feeds 10 report formats, RACS MALT first: one case, every logbook.
Recorded from the app on an iPhone with a synthetic patient; the colleague roster is blurred for the moment it is on screen. The clock shows the recording's own time: the longer pauses were cut, nothing was sped up.
