Contact
Write to support@opuslogbook.com. The mailbox is read by the person who builds Opus. Please do not put patient details in an email; a case id or a screenshot with identifiers hidden is enough.
Getting Opus
Opus is in private beta on Apple TestFlight for surgeons and surgical trainees in New Zealand and Australia. Request access and you will receive a TestFlight invitation by email. It runs on iPhone; the iPad layout is the phone layout, scaled.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Delete Account. You confirm with your password, or by signing in with Apple again if your account has no password.
What that does, from the Privacy Policy:
- Removes your account, profile photo, colleague list, device keys and the encrypted copies of cases you shared from the server.
- Wipes the logbook, the photos, the import inbox and every key from the phone.
- Copies of cases already delivered to a colleague’s phone stay on that phone, because they are encrypted to that device and Opus cannot reach into it.
- Backup files you saved are not affected; delete them where you saved them.
- A record of the deletion is kept in the security log for up to 180 days, and encrypted database backups may hold deleted information until they are replaced.
If you cannot open the app, email support from the address on the account and the deletion is done for you.
Privacy requests
To ask what account information is held about you, or to correct or delete it, email support@opuslogbook.com. The logbook itself is on your phone and not available to us; the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what the server holds.
Reporting a security problem
Email the same address with “security” in the subject line. A reply comes before anything is published about it.
